Road condition report

Bristol, VA - The Virginia Department of Transportation reports the following road conditions in the Bristol Transportation District, which includes the 12 most western counties of Virginia:

Interstates 77 and 81 are clear throughout Virginia.

Major four-lane corridors: 

Routes 19, 23, 58, Alternate 58 and 460 are predominately clear, with a few scattered snow and icy spots. 

County conditions: 

Most primary highways throughout the region are predominately clear, with a few scattered snow and ice patches.  However, several secondary routes, particularly in the higher elevations, remain predominately snow and ice covered, and are potentially hazardous.
