First Thursdays: Citizens Against Family Violence

Citizens Against Family Violence offers support group counseling for victims, friends and family of sexual and domestic violence. Share with others from similar situations and be supportive of each other, offer solutions and learn ways to make changes. Learn to assess types of violence, how to be more aware of and stop the cycle of abuse; safety planning and ways to feel better about yourselves. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and the second Thursday of each month from 10:30 am. to 11:30 a.m. Call (276) 694-2555 to get the location, which is not disclosed for the safety and privacy of participants.
