First Fridays: Music Jam Session at Dugspur Rescue Squad
Dugspur Rescue Squad Building, 118 Double Cabin Road, Dugspur. On the first Friday of each month, the Dugspur Rescue Squad Auxillary sponsors a jam session at the Dugspur Rescue Squad Building.
Music featured includes Bluegrass, old-time, country, and gospel tunes. There is no admission, but they do sell tickets to people who would like to buy them; then they have a drawing and split the pot with the owner of the winning ticket. There is plenty of good parking at the Rescue Squad Building, and sandwiches and homemade desserts are available. Bring your stringed instrument and join in on the fun. Otherwise, just bring a lawn chair and enjoy the sights and sounds of traditional-based music at its best - live. Toe tapping and flatfooting is welcome.
