VFW Music Jam Session (7:00PM - 10:00PM)

Grover King VFW Post 1115, 704 West Stuart Drive, Hillsville. There are many things distinctly unique to this region. One of these is the Old-Time and Blue Grass music jam session. A music jam is where musicians simply get together informally and play. It is a very unique experience in that the musicians that play are sometimes total strangers to the other - yet they are able to mesh their collective backgrounds. Every song is different, due to the fact that the musicians that play are usually different. It is a wonderful experience. The Wednesday night jam session is growing in popularity every week. Bring your guitar, bass, fiddle, or banjo and join in for the fun. Some just like to listen, yet others can't help but to tap their toes or a little flat footing. A music jam is worth experiencing and the concept is something that has a heritage going back many generations. Held almost every week.

 (7:00 PM-10:00 PM)
