Nowhere to Hide This Time

I have been trying to digest the comments made by Rick Boucher at this week's dog & pony show at SVCC. While he may have fooled some of the people, I believe that the majority of us in Virginia's 9th Congressional District are smarter than that. The retired people on walkers and the people who mine the coal have finally figured it out. For too many years he has voted the way he wanted and gotten by with a slick explanation, but not any more. Boucher has nowhere to hide this time.

Rick Boucher's recent vote for Cap & Trade was a vote against coal, period. It was a vote for socialism. It is about control, just look at what is going on in Washington. Cap & Trade is no longer needed since global warming has been de-bunked by most credible scientists. It is widely speculated and believed that Rick Boucher was forced to vote yes on cap & trade by Nancy Pelosi to further her radical agenda. The payoff was money to bring home to buy re-election votes. (Nancy Pelosi gave Congressman Nick Joe Rahall a pass on Cap & trade but forced him to vote yes on health care. Just the opposite of Boucher, trying to keep each one viable in November.) "We the people" are a republic. We elect representatives, not leaders. Mr Boucher is not our Pontiff, he is supposed to be our servant. He is to reflect the will of his constituents not that of the radical leftists such as Pelosi, Reid, & Obama. We do not want their socialism. Trying to explain away a treasonous act against Virginia and Coal will not float this time.

Rick Boucher is in real political trouble this time and he knows it. (So is Nick Joe Rahall.) Being stabbed in the back and then being lied to means enough is enough. Slick talk, town hall meetings, sweet pork goodies, and fancy commercials will not suffice. We Virginians must stand up to the radical socialists in Washington. This year a vote for Rick Boucher will be a vote for socialism and the radical "transformation of America" that Obama promised. We must take a stand or our Republic will cease to exist. Freedom hangs in the balance. It is time for the good citizens to take back our country. The battle will be faught up until November and our ammo is the ballot. God Bless the Republic.
