Worrell, Loretta C.

Loretta C. Worrell, 68, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010, at her home in Woodlawn, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, Corda and Charlie Cox; and two brothers, Claude Cox and Ray Cox. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Wood Worrell, of the home. They were married for 50 years. Surviving also, a daughter, Teresa Keys and husband, Freddie, of Hillsville; a son, Kevin Worrell and wife, Melissa, of Mt. Airy, N.C. Also surviving are three grandchildren; three step grandchildren; three greatgrandsons; one stepgreatgrandson; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Glen Cox, of Georgia, Boyd Lee Cox, of South Carolina, Charles R. Jr. and Pearl Cox of South Carolina, and Wayne and Susan Cox, of Max Meadows; four sisters and brother-in-law, Beatrice Lineberry, of Washington, D.C., Golda Glasgo, of Max Meadows, Ethel McGrady, of Galax, and Audean and Don Bogart, of Galax; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, from 6 until 8 p.m. at VaughanGuynnMcGrady Funeral Home in Hillsville. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at the funeral home with the Rev. John Ousley and the Rev. David Cox officiating.
