The Wednesday Night Jam At The Historic 1908 Courthouse ( 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm )
Every Wednesday evening 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Historic 1908 Courthouse, Main Street, Independence, VA. Come to play. Come to listen. Come to dance. Bring a comfortable chair, or use one of the folding chairs provided by the 1908 Courthouse. Experience a true mountain music jam, where you will hear acoustic, unamplified music as it is played when folks seek only to entertain themselves and each other. This is not a performance! This is a wonderful opportunity to ‘sit close’, hear the clack of guitar picks and feet tapping as music is shared among the group. Between tunes, you’ll hear the folks discussing everything from the history of a tune to the last bad joke they heard. Come join in! Visit www.graysoncountyva.com or call 276-773-2000 for more information.
